In a wee small village many years ago, a young laddie named David MacDonald was born. Nobody knew that this wee laddie would fly the nest and travel through time and space as Doctor Who, or change his surname to Tennant.
In his school years, this self acclaimed "Doc Who junkie" was convinced that he was going to get the part on TV. And after spending some time at the Royal Academy of Music and Drama, that is exactly what happened.
He's gone on to act in many other productions (including live theatre) and was voted best Doctor by readers of the official magazine.
